I was admitted to WGH for an elective bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (apologies for spelling) and was so nervous about the procedure but I must say that Mr Borase and his team were reassuring, professional and made me feel relaxed about the whole procedure. I must send an enormous thank you to my amazing surgeon Mr Borase and his assistants, also the wonderful anaesthetist, Dr Cooper who visited me beforehand and made me feel very relaxed and explained the procedure. I cannot praise them enough and feel very privileged to have been looked after so professionally and with the utmost care and attention. I am in awe of these experts who look after us in such difficult times with the care, patience and professionalism they show. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough.

Dr Borase was the most helpful, kind and caring doctor I have ever had experience with. I was terrified on the day of my surgery and he was very calming and re assuring before I went to theatre. I was told that my chances of having children were very slim and since having this operation he has made what we thought wasn't possible, possible. I couldn't be more grateful for his help in making this happen for us and for being a real professional but caring doctor. I really hope when it comes to my delivery he is around that day! Thank you again Dr Borase for everything. You are fab x

Mr Borase suspected I had endometriosis & talked to my husband & I about a laparoscopy to help with fertility issues we were having. Mr Borase did the surgery in March this year & was absolutely correct, he found stage 2 endometriosis & diagnosed a thyroid condition. Through the whole treatment plan I felt listened to & all my questions were answered. I also really appreciated that Mr Borase allowed my husband to attend my appointment pre surgery & he also listened to him & answered his questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Borase

Dr Borase was upfront and honest from the outset. He helped me and my husband understand the options and navigate them as swiftly as possible. I had to have surgery and it was fine, recovered in a week. Hopefully this will be our year to get pregnant but I feel confident we have a plan thanks to Dr Borase!
